On November 16, Remsen 5th grade teacher, coach, and advisor Mrs. Amy Piaschyk was honored and recognized as an outstanding educator at the Genesis Group Outstanding Educator Celebration at Hart's Hill Inn. Mrs. Piaschyk is a teacher that goes above and beyond for her students each day. She understands that each student is unique and builds relationships with her students and their families to help the students learn and grow successfully. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Piaschyk serves as a mentor for new teachers, is the girls' varsity volleyball coach, and is the advisor for our elementary STEAM club. Mrs. Piaschyk exemplifies all of the attributes of an outstanding educator at Remsen Central School District.
