Remsen Elementary Students Take Ski/Snowshoe Trip
Remsen Elementary fourth, fifth, and sixth graders recently visited the Black River Environmental Improvement Association (BREIA) trails for a day of snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
The field trip was part of the Black River Outdoor Education Program (BROEP), which uses educational and aerobic activities to teach students the benefits and importance of outdoor recreation and gives them a chance to better their physical endurance and overall health.
