Bonjour! Hello! My name is Madame Boyd and 2023-24 is my sixth year of teaching French at Remsen Jr./Sr. High School, my eleventh year overall! My journey with world languages began when I started learning French in 7th grade and continued as I added Spanish and German. Studying these languages and cultures opened up opportunities for me to be a youth exchange student, study abroad in France and Germany, volunteer in Nicaragua, and work on international exchange programs. Through these experiences and others, I have met interesting people from all around the world and close to home and from whom I’ve learned a great deal. In French class, I hope to enable my students to explore the world, both from home and beyond.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my husband and two daughters, and getting outdoors to hike, bike, and ski.
