•   My name is Mrs. Jamie Dening.  I have been a member of this wonderful community for over 33 years.  I graduated from Remsen in 1995.  During my time at Remsen I participated in soccer, softball, volleyball, Cheerleading and band.
Upon graduating from Remsen I pursued a course of study in Liberal Arts and Sciences at MVCC.  I developed a passion for the field of Psychology.  After completing my degree at MVCC I transferred into the Psychology program at Utica College.  I was inducted into the National Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi in December of 1999 and graduated in the spring of 2000 with honors, Cum Laude.  Additionally, I received a B.A. in Psychology.  In the fall of 2000, I was accepted into a graduate program for Special Education at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.  In the spring of 2002 I graduated with an M.S. in Special Education Birth-12.
I have been a Special Education Teacher for over 10 years.  My experiences have ranged from Pre-K through 12th grade.  Prior to accepting a position at Remsen, I have worked for the Utica City School District, Adirondack CSD, Rome City School District (as a term substitute teacher), and Upstate Cerebral Palsy.  Each experience I have had has helped shape the educator that I am today.
