If you are visiting our campus ~ please be sure to lock your vehicles and do not leave any valuables or purses in your vehicle. Other area school districts have experienced a series of vehicle larcenies committed during games and open houses. "Games are a part of sport. The point of the game is to win. However, humans created sport for their enjoyment and to enrich the quality of life. It is fundamental, therefore, that it matters how we participate in sporting activities. In this respect, the means matter more than the end. Thus the means of winning in sports should not lessen the value of the game as a sport." Jake Downey | ||

The Remsen Central School athletic program is a part of our overall academic program. Participation in interscholastic athletics is a privilege. Our wish is to use athletics to help students become more productive and responsible citizens in their school and their community. Athletics allows the student the opportunity to learn skills and character traits in a different type of classroom. We hope our athletes will further their lives by practicing good sportsmanship, self-discipline, loyalty, respect for others, responsibility, team work, cooperation, dedication, and commitment.
