Our region has been underfunded for several years. The current budget proposal by Governor Cuomo, while proposing an increase, does not go far enough in providing adequate aid to schools in our region. Below are model letters that can be mailed or emailed to members of the Assemby, Senate and Governor. It has been stated that if legislators receive as few as 20 letters/postcards or emails, on a particular issue, staff members will bring it directly to the attention. Please insert the necessary terms as indicated in the sample letters but do not change the content. |
