PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE HOLDERS All teachers and school leaders who hold a "Professional" certificate must complete 175 hours of professional development every 5 years. All staff who hold a "Teaching Assistant III" certificate must complete 75 hours of professional development every 5 years. The professional deveoplement period begins on the July after the effective date of Professional of TA III certificate. A professional development years runs from July 1- June 30. Below find the attachment listed PD guidelines. The PD items listed are approved items by Remsen CSD for PD hours. Note the documentation that is required to be submitted for each of the activities. Without the proper documentation some or all of the hours may not be approved. Prior approval by our building supervisor is required. Find below the authorizaton form for PD activities.

OUT OF DISTRICT TRAINING- Register by filling out registration form and submitting to your buidling principal. Registration forms will not be accepted by direct submission to the event itself. Must have supervisor approval. In District Training-All In-district trainings will run 3 hours and can hold 5 participants. Please register by email to tgeorge@remsencsd.org.
