Dear Remsen Central School Alumnus: You are cordially invited to attend the 99th Alumni Reunion, Business Meeting, and Banquet event starting at 5 PM on Saturday, June 5th, 2011. Representatives from the class of 1936, the class of 1961, and the class of 1986 will provide us some perspective from RCS of 75, 50, and 25 years ago! The Senior Class Grand March will start us off. During the business meeting, the Remsen Alumni Association will present scholarships to the Class of 2011. Remsen Central School District staff will comment on the plans of the new 2011 Alumni after graduation. Parents of the seniors may attend the banquet with advanced notice and payment for the dinner. The Remsen Alumni Association only provides the dinner for the attending Class of 2011 Graduating Seniors. The class of 2011’s liaison will collect reservations from graduating seniors and collect reservations and payment for the parents’ dinners. Our dinner price is $14.00 for each person. 50/50 raffle tickets will be sold - 50% goes to the raffle winner raffle and 50% for the Alumni Association. Our Graduating Seniors will be available for school tours and providing assistance to anyone with mobility issues. The Remsen Town Historian, Mrs. Patricia Hill, will present “a look back at the 1940’s & 1950’s of Remsen”. Please indicate either the names and number of persons in your party or indicate a year, i.e. Class of 1986 and their guests. 2) Please email address updates for any alumnus not receiving an invitation. Include all of the following information in the update: Alumnus' First Name, Last Name at Graduation, Current Last Name, Year of Graduation, Address. Optional information: email address and telephone number 3) Please email us of the death of any alumnus. Please provide the First Name, Last Name at Graduation, Last Name at the Time of Death, and Year of Graduation. If you have a copy of the obituary, we will post that to our historian records. |
